FACILITATOR

Educator,

Certified EQ Practitioner

Welcome!

I’m a bit excited that you will be joining me for training on November 20th. I want to first break the ice before we meet in person by telling you that I DREAD boring presentations, redundant speakers, and trainings that feel as if they were designed with a room full of 8-year old’s in mind.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way…

OVERVIEW

Talent and skills matter. Strategy matters. Systems and operations, it all matters. But we are the sum of our emotions and actions, and hard-wired to attach emotional meaning to everything we do; our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors.

The LEVERAGING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: Emotions and Personal Success Training is designed to foster a true sense of internal confidence and facilitate peak success by increasing EQ.

What is EQ?

Emotional Intelligence, referred to as EQ (Emotional Quotient) is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, engage socially, and navigate challenges.

Emotional Intelligence is not a basis for being “emotional” but our ability to effectively identify and manage our emotions and the emotions of others as a means to favorable outcomes.

I am looking forward to our time together!

STEP 1

ASSESSMENT

The first step of ensuring we maximize our time together is to take an individual, personalized assessment to measure your current EQ. ). Incorporating more than 20 years’ research and development, the EQ-i is a psychometrically sound, validated assessment instrument that is applied to EI/EQ assessment and development at individual, team, and organizational levels. The EQ-i is one of the most respected and recognized EI assessment instruments worldwide and it will provide us with a robust and intuitive framework to address questions related to work and life

Your assessment answers and results will be held in the strictest confidence. Your report will be made available to you and I am the only person who will see your results or be able to access them. Following your assessment, I will process your report and provide a physical copy to you at our in-person training.

In order for the results to reflect your behaviors and feelings as accurately as possible and for you to get the most out of this assessment process and course, please take approximately 20 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the instrument. As we will discuss, Emotional Intelligence involves the most effective engagement of a combination of skills and competencies that best match the context of your unique situations. Therefore, there are no right or wrong answers.

I ask that you complete the test no later than November 18th.

**NOTE: WHEN COMPLETING YUOUR PROFILE, YOU MUST REGISTER WITH YOUR NAME AND EMAIL IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR REPORT
